When to go to the Emirates?

If you are considering a journey to the United Arab Emirates and you are thinking about an ideal time of your holiday, this paragraph is dedicated right to you! We recommend visiting SAE in winter season between November and April. During this period rules relatively milder climate than in another months. The day temperatures vary around 77°F, air humidity has ideal values and night temperatures are very pleasant.

If you want to visit the UAE in summer, prepare for a big heat. Day temperatures reach literally extreme values, for example in July and in August, the air temperature is regularly on 50°C. Air humidity on the coast of the Persian Gulf reaches almost 100 % and the temperature of seawater does not fall under 86°F. On the other hands the summer season is less money-consuming – the touristic facilities are trying to attract tourists on noticable discounts.

Arrival and departure

There are six international airports in the United Arab Emirates: Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Sharjah, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah and Dubai, which has a direct air connection to many cities all over the world.
While entering the country you have to fulfill white „entering“ card and while leaving you have to fill red „leaving“ card. The airport passport control takes care of this.

Most of the hotels arrange a free direct transfer from the airport. At the hoetl you have to hand in the passport which will be returned on the day of your departure. As a valid identification document for the tourist activities, a copy of your passport suffices.

Visa

If you are American, British, Australian or Canadian, you don’t need a visa to enter the UAE.
